Indian Ministry to boost online gaming as a future career option for students

If you’re one of those who loves online games, here is an opportunity for you. The Union Ministry of Education is designing a program to help Indian students who are influenced by online gambling. There is a major initiative from the Department to build employment opportunities.

The Ministry confirmed that soon it will be organizing an online game “national hackathon” to showcase talents of Indian students. The toy-art experience will be given to school children from across the country. It is assumed that this entire curriculum needs to meet with universal requirements.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said they are preparing a hackathon for high school students through a toy innovation development and design. As mentioned above, this includes online games, which reflect Indian ethos and values.

PM Narendra Modi stated that it is time to make India autonomous. He believes the toy industry has enormous potential and wants all students to enroll in it.

This is indeed an interesting proposal, and we would like to see more opportunities for online gamers. Whether we play these games or be part of the team that makes them, here in India we certainly need more talent. However, we need more help for the potential talent that already exists.

So, there is a clear strategy in motion and would be fascinating to see if such creativity can light up the employability afterward.
