Back in September, when the Indian government banned the PUBG Mobile game in India, Studio nCore Pvt Ltd declared an indigenous alternative of the game named FAUG, the abbreviation of The Fearless and United Guards. The game is now live on Play Store and is open for pre-registration. If you pre-register for the game, you will get a notification whenever the game can be downloaded. Details like formal launch date, size of the game, compatible devices are still undisclosed for now.
FAU-G According to the description on Play Store, the battleground of the game will be India’s northern border where a group is entangled in a fight to safeguard the nation’s pride and sovereignty. The players will get to the skin of a patriotic soldier and are expected to witness the bravery, brotherhood, and sacrifice of the men protecting the nation’s borders. Additionally, the listing also divulges a couple of screenshots from the game, giving a sneak-peek of what the soldier’s skin will resemble and their ammunition.
The company has also shared a one-minute teaser which shows that a bit of conflict devoid of weapons as helicopters can be viewed landing on a barren strip of land, and a fight follows between Indian soldiers and the opposing army personnel.
Today we commemorate the victory of good over evil, and what better day to honour our Fearless and United Guards, our FAU-G!
